Legal basis of processing

This site processes data mainly based on user consent. Consent is given via the banner at the bottom of the page or via the use or consultation of the site as conclusive behavior. By using or consulting the site, visitors and users approve this privacy policy and consent to processing their personal data in relation to the methods and purposes described below, including any disclosure to third parties if necessary for the provision of a service. Further consents relating to the specific purpose of the service are collected via the communication or service request forms. The provision of data and, therefore, consent to the collection and processing of data is optional; the User can deny consent and can revoke at any time a consent already provided (via the banner at the bottom of the page or the browser settings for cookies, or the Contact link). However, denying consent may make it impossible to provide certain services, and the browsing experience on the site would be compromised. The data for the security of the site and the prevention of abuse and SPAM, as well as the data for the analysis of site traffic (statistics) in aggregate form, are processed based on the legitimate interest of the Data Controller in protecting the site and the users themselves. In such cases, the User always has the right to object to data processing (see par. User rights).

Purpose of processing

The processing of data collected by the site, in addition to the purposes connected, instrumental, and necessary to the provision of the service, is aimed at the following purposes: – Statistics (analysis) Collection of data and information in an exclusively aggregated and anonymous form to verify the correct functioning of the site. None of this information is related to the physical person of the site, and identification is not allowed in any way. Consent is not required. – Security Collection of data and information to protect the security of the site (antispam filters, firewalls, virus detection) and of the Users and to prevent or expose fraud or abuse to the detriment of the website. The data is recorded automatically and may also include personal data (IP address) that could be used, in accordance with the laws in force on the matter, in order to block attempts to damage the site itself or to cause damage to other users, or in any case harmful or criminal activities. Such data is never used to identify or profile the User and is deleted periodically. Consent is not required. – Ancillary activities Communicate the data to third parties that perform functions necessary or instrumental to the operation of the service (e.g., comment box) and allow third parties to carry out technical, logistical, and other activities on our behalf. Suppliers have access only to personal data necessary to carry out their tasks and undertake not to use it for other purposes. They are required to process personal data according to current regulations.

Data collected

This site collects user data in two ways. – Data collected automatically During User navigation, the following information may be collected and stored in the site’s server (hosting) log files: – Internet Protocol (IP) address; – Browser type; – Parameters of the device used to connect to the site; – Name of the Internet Service Provider (ISP); – Date and time of visit; – Web page of origin of the visitor (referral) and exit; – Possibly the number of clicks. This data is used exclusively in aggregated form for statistical and analysis purposes. The IP address is used exclusively for security purposes and is not cross-referenced with other data. – Data provided voluntarily The site may collect other data in the event of voluntary use of services by users, such as commenting services and communication (contact forms, comment boxes), and will be used exclusively to provide the requested service: – name; – email address.

The data is processed at the headquarters of the Data Controller.

Transfer of collected data to third parties

At our site, we prioritize your privacy. We generally do not share the data we collect with third parties. However, there are specific instances when we may do so: in response to a legitimate request by the judicial authority and only in cases provided for by law; if it is necessary for the provision of a specific service requested by you; or for the execution of security checks or optimization of the site.

Transfer of data to non-EU countries

This site may share data collected with services outside the European Union area. In particular with Google, Facebook, and Microsoft (LinkedIn) through social plugins and the Google Analytics service. The transfer is authorized based on specific decisions of the European Union and the Guarantor for the protection of personal data, in particular decision 1250/2016 (Privacy Shield – here is the information page of the Italian Guarantor), for which no further consent is required. The companies mentioned above guarantee their adherence to the Privacy Shield.

Security measures

At our site, we take the security of your data seriously. We process visitor/user data in a lawful and correct manner, adopting appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or unauthorized destruction of data. We are committed to protecting the security of your personal data during their transmission, using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information in transit. Processing is carried out using IT and/or telematic tools, with organizational methods and logic strictly related to the purposes indicated. In addition to the Data Controller, in some cases, categories of persons involved in the organization of the site or external parties (such as third-party technical service providers, hosting providers) may have access to the data.

 

Cookie

This site uses cookies and text files recorded on the user’s terminal, or allowing access to information on the user’s terminal. Cookies allow us to store information on visitors’ preferences; they are used to verify the correct functioning of the site and to improve its functionality by customizing the content of the pages based on the type of browser used or to simplify navigation by automating the procedures (e.g., Login, site language), and finally for the analysis of the use of the site by visitors. This site uses the following categories of cookies: technical cookies, which are used to transmit electronic communication to ensure the correct display of the site and navigation within it. Third-party cookies

This site also acts as an intermediary for third-party cookies (such as social network buttons), used to provide additional services and features to visitors, simplify the site’s use, and orovide personalized advertising. This site has no control over its cookies, which are entirely managed by third parties, and does not have access to the information collected through said cookies. Information on the use of said cookies and their purposes, as well as how to disable them, are provided directly by the third parties on the pages indicated below. Please note that generally, tracking users does not involve identification of the same unless the User is already registered for the service and is also already logged in, in which case it is understood that the User has already expressed his consent directly to the third party when registering for the relevant service (e.g., Facebook). This site uses cookies from the following third parties. – Google Inc. For information on the use of data and their processing by Google, we recommend that you read Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses data when using partner sites or apps. – Google Analytics: used to analyze the use of the site by users, compile reports on site activity and user behavior, check how often users visit the site, how the site is tracked, and which pages are visited most frequently. The information is combined with information collected from other sites to create a comparative picture of the use of the site compared to other sites in the same category. Data collected: browser identifier, date and time of interaction with the site, page of origin, IP address. Place of data processing: European Union, as the anonymization of the service is active. The data collected does not allow personal identification of users and is not cross-referenced with other information relating to the same person. It is processed in aggregate and anonymized form (truncated to the last octet). : According to a specific agreement (DPA), Google Inc. (the data controller) is prohibited from cross-referencing such data with data obtained from other services. The User can selectively disable (opt-out) data collection by Google Analytics by installing the appropriate component provided by Google on their browser (opt-out). – YouTube: a platform owned by Google that shares videos. Cookies are set when the page containing the embed is accessed and when the video starts, and they do not allow the User’s identification unless they are already logged into their Google profile. The “advanced privacy (no cookie)” option has been activated for videos on the site, which ensures that YouTube does not store information about visitors unless they voluntarily reproduce the video. Data collected: number and behavior of service users, IP address, information that links visits to the site to the Google account for users who are already logged in, and preferences for viewing videos. Social Network Plugins

This site also incorporates plugins and/or buttons to allow easy content sharing on your favorite social networks. When you visit a page of our website that contains a plugin, your browser connects directly to the servers of the social network from which the plugin is loaded, which server can track your visit to our website and, if applicable, associate it with your social account, in particular, if you are connected at the time of the visit or if you have recently browsed one of the websites containing social plugins. If you do not want the social network to record data relating to your visit to our website, you must log out of your social account and probably delete the cookies the social network has installed in your browser. Plugins with advanced user privacy protection functions are installed on this site, which do not send cookies or access the cookies on the User’s browser when the page is opened but only after clicking on the plugin. User rights

Pursuant to European Regulation 679/2016 (GDPR), the User may, in accordance with the methods and within the limits established by current legislation, exercise the following rights: – object in whole or in part, for legitimate reasons, to the processing of personal data concerning him/her for the purpose of sending advertising or direct sales material or for carrying out market research or commercial communication; – request confirmation of the existence of personal data concerning him/her (right of access); – know its origin; – receive intelligible communication; – have information about the logic, methods and purposes of the processing; – request its updating, rectification, integration, cancellation, transformation into anonymous form, blocking of data processed in violation of the law, including those no longer necessary for the pursuit of the purposes for which they were collected; – in cases of consent-based processing, receive, at the sole cost of any support, your data provided to the owner, in a structured and readable form by a data processor and in a format commonly used by an electronic device; – the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority (Privacy Guarantor – link to the Guarantor’s page); – as well as, more generally, exercise all the rights recognized by the current provisions of law.
